2026 RAM 5500 Big Horn 4x4 Jerr-Dan 20' 6-Ton Rollback Tow Truck

This new 2026 RAM 5500 Big Horn 4x4 rollback tow truck combines a powerful commercial-duty chassis with a Jerr-Dan 6-ton steel rollback body. Power comes from the 6.7L I6 Cummins Turbo Diesel engine paired with the 8-speed TorqueFlite HD automatic transmission, providing a capable drivetrain for demanding towing and recovery work.

The Big Horn package gives the cab a more premium, comfortable working environment with upgraded interior appointments, a luxury steering wheel, premium speakers and a 12-inch infotainment system. It is also equipped with a dual-view rear camera setup, allowing the operator to monitor cargo on the rollback deck as well as the rear wheel-lift area—an especially useful feature when loading, securing and towing vehicles.

The Jerr-Dan 20SRR6T-LPW steel rollback features a 20'steel deck, 37" headboard, removable tubular side rails, 12 keyslots and a low 7.5-degree load angle for easier loading of low-clearance vehicles. Recovery capability is provided by a Ramsey 8,000-lb worm-gear winch with 75' of 3/8" steel cable, self-locking swivel hook, roller guide/tensioner plate and LED work lights.

At the rear, the integrated wheel lift provides a 3,500-lb lift capacity and 10,000-lb tow capacity and includes L-arms for vehicle securement. Dual lighted side controls give the operator convenient access to the rollback functions from either side of the truck.

This truck is also outfitted for day-to-day professional towing operations with lockable toolboxes, an air compressor and air coupler, front-bumper jumper port, Federal Signal Allegiant LED light bar, wireless tow lightbar and a comprehensive assortment of towing and recovery gear.
